The Role:
As an Associate Consultant, you will support the team in identifying candidates for specific job vacancies and proactively work with each candidate to help land them their dream job.
You will be trained on the full recruitment cycle and be actively involved in taking each candidate through the Gambit Process. This means from their very first engagement with Gambit to the point in which a candidate is placed into a new role and an ongoing relationship is maintained.


Duties & Responsibilities:

Candidate Focus:

• Interviewing and assessing prospective applicants and matching them with client vacancies.
• Screening candidates and drawing up shortlists of candidates for clients to interview.
• Organising interviews and helping applicants to prepare for interviews.
• Maintaining the candidate database and promoting jobs to new and existing candidates.
• Writing and posting job advertisements.
• Build awareness of the business in the market place via relevant social mediums i.e. LinkedIn.
• Build a personal brand and reputation.
• Maintaining regular contact with active and passive candidates via our database.
• Headhunting potential candidates.
• Developing a consistently excellent candidate experience from first call to placement.
• Post placement care with candidates.
• Conducting right to work checks to ensure agency regulation compliance.
• Constantly developing strong, long term relationships with candidates – your network is your net worth.

Once you are comfortable across the full candidate cycle, you will step up into a Consultant role whereby you will be responsible for generating fees in line with agreed targets by placing job vacancies with our clients. These will involve taking on additional client management duties listed below:

• Build awareness of the business in the market place through digital communications using appropriate social media
• Build a personal brand and reputation with clients
• Become a genuine expert in the chosen sector
• New business development - turn prospects into clients
• Negotiating contracts and appropriate commercial terms
• Managing or making arrangements for the advertisement of vacancies
• Manage and deliver excellent experiences for our clients
• Build relationships with clients which influence their loyalty towards us
• Developing long term relationships and partnerships with clients by building an understanding of their structure, culture, hiring needs and preferences
